Amy Winehouse was back in her beehive for her court date today.

The singer has been minus her famous head-gear in recent months, preferring to air her natural curly locks during her extended stay in St Lucia.

But this morning, as she made her way to the City of Westminster Magistrates Court in London to face assault charges, the beehive was back in place – with the addition of a blonde streak through the front.

Amy had also wisely ditched her bikini top and denim shorts for a smart grey skirt suit.

However, she was still in her trademark ballet pumps - but at least it appeared to be a brand new pair!

The Rehab star denies assaulting a woman at a charity gig last September.

She is accused of reacting angrily after a female fan asked for her photograph to be taken with the singer at the End of Summer Ball in London.

The hearing is expected to last two days.

Meanwhile, a judge last week granted the singer and her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil a Decree Nisi, effectively ending their marriage.
