Katie Price has said her split from Peter Andre could be a good thing for their children – because he's actually being a father.
The former glamour model spoke about the couple's recent separation during an interview on GMTV this morning.
Price admitted that her children were beginning to realise their parents were no longer together, but said they were both doing their best to comfort them.
“There’s so much love from his side and our side so they shouldn’t really be affected,” Price said.
However, the former model appeared to criticise Andre's parenting skills later in the interview, as well as his frequent public appearances alongside his children.
“I haven’t slated him or anything like that, but one good thing that’s come out of it – he’s actually doing things for the kids and it’s really nice to see,” she said.
“Whereas me, I’m not doing any like media stuff with the kids because I don’t won’t to do that, but it’s good to see that Pete’s actually taking the kids out.”
Meanwhile, Price, who is promoting her new book Sapphire, also denied reports she was dating: “I am single.”
Instead, Price said she planned to concentrate on her work, which, according to reports today, could include a role in the movie sequel to Sex and the City.
