Katie Price has auditioned for a role in the movie sequel to Sex and the City, according to reports.

The former glamour model has been quoted as saying she has been screen tested for the part of a “big-breasted English girl”.

And Price has already spent thousands of pounds on acting lessons to boost her chances of landing the part, according to the Daily Mirror.

“I recently went to LA where I was doing my acting lessons for Sex and the City Part 2,” Price reportedly said.

“They want a big-breasted English glamour girl and I have had the audition.”

Filming on the movie, which will reprise Sarah Jessica Parker's role as Carrie Bradshaw, is due to begin later this summer in New York.

Meanwhile, Price has hit out at claims that estranged husband Peter Andre has documented the torment of their recent split on his forthcoming album.

In one song, Andre apparently sings about a former glamour model who is "distinctly average".

“It doesn’t make sense that while he was with me he recorded horrible songs like that,” she told Galaxy FM.
