Angelina Jolie took to the skies with adopted son Maddox on Tuesday – but this time mommy wasn't doing the flying.

Dressed casually and wearing matching black shades, the actress and her eldest arrived at LAX to catch a flight.

Angie got her pilot's licence in 2004 and has been brushing up on her flying skills with her instructor lately.

Just two weeks ago she treated daughters Shiloh and Zahara to a spin in her Cirrus SR22 plane in the skies above California.
