Mischa Barton has been committed to a psychiatric ward at a Los Angeles hospital, according to the latest reports.
Police previously confirmed they were called to the former OC star's home on Wednesday to deal with an undisclosed “medical issue.”
The LAPD said they had escorted the actress from her home, but her whereabouts was unknown.
According to Access Hollywood, the actress is under involuntary psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Her rep would only say: "Mischa has been hospitalized per the recommendation of her doctor and is resting in the hospital."
Mischa has raised concerns for her health with her dramatically fluctuating weight over the last few months.
After looking unhealthy gaunt at Paris Fashion Week in February, she hit the headlines again this month when she was snapped looking pale and bloated as she left a London club.
