Amy Winehouse has been granted a 'quickie' divorce after she admitted cheating on husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
The singer faces paying her ex-husband $3.6 million (£2.4 million) after a judge at London's High Court on Thursday (16Jul09) when a judge approved a decree nisi.
It means if no further evidence is submitted to the court within the next six weeks, their divorce will be formally rubber-stamped.
Blake filed for divorce in January, citing his wife's adultery after he saw pictures of her cavorting with another man on holiday in St Lucia.

Done and (almost) dusted: Amy and Blake's approved divorce papers
After Thursday's hearing, it emerged Amy had confessed to cheating on her husband - eight months before the divorce petition was lodged.
In court papers, Blake is asked to outline his reasons for the divorce, and states: "The respondent confessed the adultery to me in April 2008."
In a separate document, Amy is asked: "Do you admit the adultery alleged in the petition?", and answers: "Yes."
No name is given for the person she had an affair with.
Blake also states he finds it "intolerable" living with the singer, and they have not shared a home since April 2008.
