Vanessa Hudgens Too Career-Focussed To Marry Zac Efron

Vanessa Hudgens has ruled out marrying her boyfriend and High School Music co-star Zac Efron in the near future.

The actress, who met Efron on the teen series, said she was too interested in pursuing her acting career.

"I think [marriage] is great but I'm so focused on my career right now that it doesn't really cross my mind,” she said.

Hudgens is set to showcase her versatility as an actress later this year in the movie Sucker Punch, which tells the story of a girl who is locked up by her stepfather.

The 20-year-old star told People magazine it was “really important” for her to try “different things”.

“I think a lot of people get stuck doing the same routine, and I'm just not content with that,” she said.

“I love trying new things and doing new hobbies and just exploring life."
