Justin Timberlake is not known for his love of the paparazzi and on Wednesday one unlucky photog received the full-force (bar actual physical violence) of the grouchy singer's ire.

The Sexy Back star took a stand when one shutterbug got too close for comfort outside a hotel in West Hollywood.

But rather than resort to fisty-cuffs, the singer saw off his paparazzo foe by getting up in his face and dispensing some fightin' talk and mean glares.

An onlooker said: "No one could hear what this was all about but the photographer was clearly furious about something. But Justin was really cool - he just faced him down and took it all in his stride."

We're not sure it was an outright Trousersnake victory, though.

By losing his cool, Justin gave the other paps something mildly interesting to photograph for a change.
