Peter Andre has criticised his estranged wife Katie Price for revealing she suffered a miscarriage weeks before the couple's split.

The former glamour model spoke about the loss during an TV interview with former newspaper editors Piers Morgan.

In his weekly column for New! Magazine, Andre said Price had betrayed the former couple's trust.
 
“By revealing all about the baby we lost, Kate went against everything we said we'd never do,” Andre wrote.

"The miscarriage was a devastating time for us both, but I strongly believe it should have remained private.

"Unfortunately, what Kate says is out of my control. I can't control what other people do. I can only control what comes out of my mouth."

The unborn baby, which would have been the couple's third child, died in April after doctors failed to find the foetus's heartbeat. Price and Andre split in May.

The singer said he had not intended to watch his estranged wife's interview on Saturday because “I don't care what she says”, but admitted he had seen the programme with his mother and brother.

He also said he would remain celibate during the couple's divorce, as that was “the most honourable thing to do”.

The pair came face to face yesterday as Price dropped their children, Junior 4, and Princess Tiaamii, 2, off into Andre's custody.
