Katie Price is in talks with a number of Hollywood casting agencies in a bid to launch an acting career in America, according to reports.
The former glamour model is said to be strongly behind the move, despite venting her frustration with the country in a recent reality TV series.
Price, who recently split from husband Peter Andre, has apparently approached Creative Artists Agency, whose clients include Nicole Kidman, and William Morris to help her crack the US market.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She really wants to act and there should be no problem in making this happen.
"Let's face it - the Yanks do seem to have a passion for booby models with a love of plastic surgery."
Price frequently criticised the US in her reality TV series, Katie and Peter: Stateside, which followed the now estranged couple's temporary move to Los Angeles earlier this year.
While Andre used the trip to record his new album, his wife was often shown looking frustrated on camera.
The former couple, who have two children together, announced their shock split in May, shortly of the ITV2 series began.
