The film might recall the life of a boy wizard, but there was no spell capable of preventing the stars of Harry Potter from getting soaked at the movie's premiere in London last night.
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were all caught up in a thunderous downpour as they arrived on the red carpet in Leicester Square.
But the conditions didn't prevent Radcliffe, who plays Potter, and Grint from spending 45 minutes greeting fans.

Watson, however, who was wearing a full-length dress which was more suited to drier weather, was less fortunate.
The actress suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she took shelter under an umbrella.
The latest film, Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince, follows Radcliffe, Watson and Grint as they turn into young adults.

Radcliffe told reporters on the red carpet: "It's going to be very, very sad to finish these movies but, at the same time, it will be exciting.
"There's more stuff to move on to so I'm not purely depressed about finishing them."

Daniel Radcliffe can do nothing but smile at the terrible weather conditions.
Meanwhile, Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, used his appearance at the premiere to dampen reports of his recent bout of swine flu.
"Swine flu is nothing really, I found out,” he said. "It's just like normal flu, it's just that you are in bed for a while.
"Initially, the words 'swine flu' was kind of scary, but it was easy."
The author of the Harry Potter books JK Rowling also attended last night's premiere, alongside the actors Robbie Coltrane, Alan Rickman and Miriam Margolyes, who all star in the sixth movie.
Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince goes on general cinema release this weekend.
