Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been quick to quash rumours their relationship is on the outs with a night out together.

The pair teamed up with newlyweds Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady for a dinner date in West Hollywood.

Worryingly though, for us more astute Hollywood-watchers, we're only too aware that when a famous couple go out of their way to put on a united front, it's because their most likely not very united at all.

Questions over the couples' future were raised when it was noticed the pair hadn't been seen together since May.

Reports of Justin acting like a single man at Kate Hudson's recent 30th birthday bash did little to dispell the growing media interest.

Sources also claim the singer was unwilling to take Jessica on a recent trip to the UK, with pals telling the New York Daily News she's far to needy and is always "checking up on him".

Although we wish this gorgeous couple all the best, we do have one tip for Mr Timberlake - if you are trying to patch things up with your girlfriend, probably best not to take her to dinner with one of the worlds most beautiful women.
