Watch Video Of Michael Jackson's Final Performance

Promoter AEG releases rehearsal footage...

Friday 03rd Jul 2009

Concert promoter AEG has released footage of Michael Jackson rehearsing for his London shows.

The video – filmed on June 23, just two days before his death from a suspected heart attack - shows the singer performing the song ‘They Don't Care About Us’ at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Looking thin but showing little outward sign of his alleged fragile health and prolific prescription drug use, Michael can be seen dancing with a troupe of backing dancers and a female guitarist.

His able performance is sure to raise further questions about the circumstances surrounding his death barely two days later.

Earlier this week, a series of still images from the same rehearsal showed Michael performing on the 'This Is It' stage set.

The star was preparing to begin a 50-night concert residency in London on July 13.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958. He was the seventh child of nine children to Joseph and Katherine Jackson and was born into a typical working class family. The city of Gary is 25 miles from downtown Chicago and is famous for its massive steel industry. It took its name from the chairman of U.S. Steel, Elbert H Gary, and is nicknamed 'City of Century' – we're hoping for ironic reasons. (Image: WENN.com)
