Kevin Jonas Announces Engagement To Danielle Deleasa

Jonas Brothers star Kevin Jonas has announced plans to marry girlfriend Danielle Deleasa.

Jonas travelled overnight from a concert in Vancouver to Deleasa's home in New Jersey to propose yesterday morning.

In a statement to People magazine, he said he had found performing difficult knowing that he was about “to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world”.

But, he added: "She said, 'Yes, yes, yes' like 500 times super fast in a row!"

At 21, Kevin is the oldest of the three Jonas brothers and has been dating Deleasa since May 2007.

In a separate statement, Jonas's parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas, said they were “thrilled with joy” by their son's engagement.

The brothers, who all wear purity rings, famously vowed last year to abstain from sex until marriage.

No date has yet been set for the couple's marriage.
