New vampire on the block Jamie Campbell Bower doesn't envy New Moon co-star Robert Pattinson's "scary" level of fame.
The British actor – who plays Cauis in the second big screen instalment of the Twilight saga - got a glimpse into the craziness that surrounds Rob's while in Los Angeles earlier this year.
“Well I still have a degree of anonymity in Britain, but in the few weeks I spent out in LA it was crazy,” he told Entertainmentwise at the London premiere of Public Enemies on Monday.
“Every time you go out there's like 40 photographers outside your door. For the short time I was there it was fun, but I don't know how these guys (the other Twilight cast members) deal with it.”
Responding to the alleged incident which saw Rob clipped by a moving taxi as he tried to evade fans in New York, Jamie adds: “Yeah, I heard about that, that's awful! Was it fans? That's scary...”
For now, the 20-year-old is content to receive the attentions of just the one fan.
"I only want one girl screaming for me," he says, pointing to his girlfriend.
Sorry girls, seems like this one's spoken for!
