Robbie Williams Quizzed By Police Over Armed Robbery

Robbie Williams has been interviewed by police investigating an armed robbery in the Bahamas.

The former Take That star was questioned after two photographers were allegedly robbed at gunpoint just hours after taking pictures of the star.

British photographer Matt Sanchez and American Carlos Mendez had taken pictures of Williams smoking a roll-up cigarette on a jet-ski on Saturday.

A confrontation is said to have broken out between the pop star's friends and the photographers, who were later allegedly threatened at gunpoint by four men who broke into their beach hut in the early hours of Sunday morning.

$20,000 worth of cameras and other equipment were stolen during the raid, according to the Associated Press.

Police are trying to discover if there was link between the robbery and the pictures the men had taken of the star earlier in the day.

Williams, who is not being treated as a subject, is on holiday on the island of Staniel Cay with his father and girlfriend.
