Robert Pattinson Hit By Taxi!

Twilight star Robert Pattinson's misery continued yesterday as he was clipped by a taxi in New York while trying to run away from female fans.

The 23-year-old was in a Strand Bookstore in Manhattan on Tuesday for the filming of new movie 'Remember Me' when he was spotted by the fans and chased out on the street into the path of an oncoming taxi.

Five thick-set security guards looking after the star at the time were unable to prevent his near-escape. The actor was unhurt in the scuffle.

According to RadarOnline, one bodyguard checked Pattinson for injuries before screaming at the devotees, "You see what you did, you almost killed him!"
