Katie Price has claimed she is already “over” her split from husband Peter Andre, according to reports.

The former glamour model is said told friends about her intentions to move on ahead of son Junior's fourth birthday party.

“It’s been really hard but I think I’m finally getting there,” she is reported to have told friends.

“The party was all about me, my mates and the kids. Nothing else upsetting got in the way. It’s a chance for me to let my hair down after a very sad few weeks.

“It’s been the perfect medicine.”

Both Price and Andre have refused to speak publicly about their separation since it was confirmed in May.

The couple, who met on the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here in 2004, have two children together, while Price has Harvey, 7, from a previous relationship.

According to the Daily Mirror, Price has signed a new TV deal with ITV which will see her have her own reality TV show.

At present, the former model, also known as Jordan, shares a programme – Katie and Peter: Stateside – with her estranged husband.
