Susan Boyle's participation in the opening night of the Britain's Got Talent tour later is still not certain.

The 48-year-old singer has yet to be confirmed for the show at Birmingham's NIA arena, a spokesperson said.

There has been endless tabloid speculation as to whether Boyle will appear at every date on the 23-night tour following her recent stay in The Priory.

The singer was treated for exhaustion at the London clinic after coming second on the TV talent show.

Yesterday, it was reported Boyle had refused to attend the first day of rehearsals on Wednesday.

The singer has become a household name since her audition for Britain's Got Talent became a hit on YouTube.
