Paris Hilton And Doug Reinhardt Announce Shock Split - Picture

Paris Hilton has split from her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, just months after she suggested the couple would marry.

The couple had been almost inseparable since they were first spotted together at a basketball game in February.

But yesterday a spokesperson for Hilton told People: “In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true - they are no longer together.”

The spokesperson also called for the media to respect the former couple's privacy.

The announcement came as Hilton was photographed dining with her sister, Nicky, in Hollywood.

However, there is confusion over the split after Reinhardt told another US publication yesterday that the couple were still together.

“Everything is OK between us,” he told E!.

The pair were a regular feature at the Cannes Film Festival last month, where Hilton spoke of her intention to marry her then boyfriend.
