Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning attended a vocal studio together in Los Angeles yesterday to rehearse for their new film.

The two actresses both star in The Runaways, which tells the story of a '70s girlband of the same name.

Stewart, 19 tried to keep a low profile as she left the studio, while Fanning, 15, managed to smile for photographers.

Stewart plays Joan Jett in The Runaways and recently described the idea of player the singer as an “insane concept”.

“I'm going to give it all I've got,” she said.

Both stars will also appear together in The Twilight Saga: New Moon later this year.

Stewart reprises her role as Bella Swan in the movie, while Fanning's character, Jane, is a member of the Volturi.
