Amy Winehouse 'Blocks Alexandra Burke From Hearing God-Daughter's Album'

Amy Winehouse has barred Alexandra Burke from listening to tracks from her 13-year-old god-daughter's debut album, it's been reported.

Burke, who won last year's X Factor, apparently asked to hear some of Dionne Bromfield's tracks during a recent recording session.

But Winehouse is said to have gone “mad” when Bromfield called her to ask if she should play the X Factor winner her songs.

"Amy started ranting saying there was no way Alex could hear her new material,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

"She told Dionne if artists listen to it they may try to mimic it - basically accusing Alex of wanting to copy her."

Winehouse is understood to be acting as a mentor for Bromfield as she tries to break into the music industry.
