Peter Andre has insisted he wants to remain strong for the sake of his children following his split from wife Katie Price.
The singer is currently only being granted weekend access to Junior, 3, Princess Tiaamii, 1, and Harvey, 7, Price's son by footballer Dwight Yorke.
But in his weekly column for New! Magazine, Andre said just being able to see his children is what “keeps me going”.
“I am obviously still reeling but I have to focus and stay strong for the children because if I crumble then I’m no use to them,” he wrote.
Andre added that once he has settled into his new home in Hove he hoped to see the children “a lot more and not just at weekends”.
The singer has lost 14lbs since he and Price announced their split in a joint statement last month.
Despite reports that the couple were aiming for a “quickie” divorce, Andre said he was unaware that the form of quick separation even existed.
“I didn’t even know you could get divorced that quickly,” he wrote.
Andre hosted a private birthday party for Junior at his agent's house yesterday as he will be unable to see the child when he turns four this weekend, according to the Daily Mirror.
