Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt 'To Marry To Dismiss Split Reports'

Angelina and Jolie are reportedly planning to get married in a bid to end further speculation about their relationship.

The couple, who met in 2006, have faced repeated split reports over recent months, despite a very public display of unity at the Cannes film festival in May.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Jolie has now raised the subject of marriage with Pitt after an aide showed her press clippings about their romance.

“Brad's face lit up, he was thrilled,” a source said.

"He definitely wants to get married before they have any more babies. He needs to know Angelina is really committed to him.

"Becoming Mrs Pitt would give him that answer."

However, a report in another newspaper today claimed the couple were now living apart.

Jolie and Pitt began dating after meeting on the set of the movie Mr and Mrs Smith. They have six children together.
