Peter Andre Sends 'Massive' Thank You To Fans Following Katie Price Split

Peter Andre has sent a “massive” thank you to his fans following his split from wife Katie Price.

The singer posted the message on the micro-blogging website Twitter.

Andre wrote: “Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on for a while but a MASSIVE thanks to everyone for your messages. You are all a lovely bunch.”

The message, posted on June 5, marks the first time Andre has used the website since his separation from Price last month.

Before the couple's split, both Andre and Price had been prolific Twitter users, often posting updates about things that had done together.

In April, Andre told his Twitter followers he and his wife had been given a “unbelievable reception” during the London marathon, which was one of their last public appearances together. 

Price has since used the service to deny reports about their split which appeared to carry quotes attributed to her.

As Entertainmentwise reported earlier, the couple are reported to have clashed over the custody of their children over the weekend.

Andre was apparently allowed care of Junior, 3, Princess Tiaamii, 1, and Harvey, 6 – Price's son by footballer Dwight Yorke – for three days, but returned them early.
