The actress who will be filling Kristen Stewart's shoes as Robert Pattinson's leading lady has been named as Aussie Emile de Ravin.

The star - who is currently M.I.A on the island in hit TV series Lost - will join the man of the moment in his next project Remember Me, which begins production in New York on June 15.

The Allen-Coulter-directed drama centres on two lovers (played by Rob and Emile) whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their own family tragedies.

Wonder if they pair will 'bond' as well as Rob and Kristen?

Also joining the cast are Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper, reports Variety.

As we previously reported, Rob is already in New York, where his scruffy presence has been caused quite a stir.
