Susan Boyle last night checked herself out of The Priory and went into hiding, it's been reported.
The Britain's Got Talent runner-up was admitted to the London clinic on Sunday suffering from exhaustion.
According to the Daily Mirror, Boyle left The Priory yesterday with no objections from doctors.
“It was entirely her decision and she is feeling a lot more at ease now she has been out of the spotlight,” a source said.
The star is believed to be keen to reunite with friends and family in her hometown of Blackburn, Scotland.
But Boyle also has an eye on her singing career, with plans to record a debut album. She is also due to appear on the Britain's Got Talent live tour this month.
The 48-year-old is thought to have been left overcome by the exposure she received after her audition for Britain's Got Talent became a worldwide hit on YouTube.
Boyle, the bookies' favourite to win Britain's Got Talent, eventually came runner-up to London dance act Diversity.
