Susan Boyle has been asked to perform for US president Barack Obama next month, it's been revealed.
Boyle's brother, John, said the Britain's Got Talent runner-up has been invited to attend the White House as part of Independence Day celebrations on July 4.
“Her dream is still very much alive,” he told the Daily Record. “In fact, it's only just starting.”
Boyle is currently being treated for exhaustion at The Priory clinic in London after her defeat to dance act Diversity in Saturday's final.
The star is believed to have collapsed on Sunday from the pressure of her new found fame.
“Susan is exhausted, that's all there is to it," John said.
"It's no surprise - she has gone from a small town in West Lothian to being famous around the world.
“She's been battered non-stop for the last seven weeks and it has taken its toll. But she'll be looking forward now to the Fourth of July.”
Boyle is expected to he discharged from The Priory this week so she can perform on the Britain's Got Talent tour, which gets under way on June 12.
