Susan Boyle was admitted to The Priory after collapsing at her hotel in London, it's been claimed.
The Britain's Got Talent runner-up is believed to have fainted as a result of her shock defeat to dance act Diversity in the final of the competition.
According to tabloid reports, the 48-year-old singer spent Sunday crying and was also heard calling for her cat, Pebbles.
"She worked herself into such a frenzy that she fainted,” a source told The Sun newspaper.
“We called down for a doctor and the production company called their GP, who arrived with a psychiatrist to assess Susan as she'd been under extreme pressure."

Susan was taken to The Priory on Sunday night after police were called to her hotel. She is being treated for exhaustion.
There is now doubt over whether the singer, who has become a worldwide sensation, will be able to take part in the Britain's Got Talent tour.
The tour, which begins on June 12, is scheduled to feature a host of the talent show's most loved contestants.
Yesterday, Susan's brother, Gerry, said his sister needed time to recuperate, but revealed she was still hoping to launch her singer career.
