Reese Witherspoon looked in fine form during a baseball workout in Los Angeles yesterday.

Dressed in sporty shorts and T-shirt, plus kneepads and wristguards for protection, the actress was put through her paces with running drills and a game of softball on the sports field at UCLA.

But it's not all about attaining that banging bikini for the Legally Blonde star – Reese is in straining for her role in an as yet untitled James L.Brooks movie project, co-starring Owen Wilson.
