Dane Bowers has claimed Katie Price can prove he wasn't driving a car that crashed near her home yesterday, according to reports.
Dane and another man were reportedly arrested by police on suspicion of drink-driving after a car collided with a hedge near Katie's Surrey mansion at 4am yesterday morning.
According to The Sun newspaper, the pair claimed the Vauxhall Tigra car, believed to be owned by Dane's friend, had been stolen.
Dane, who dated the former glamour model for two years before the couple split in 2000, was apparently in possession of the car's keys when he was arrested.
But the former Another Level star is reported to have told police he couldn't have been driving because he was with Katie.

The former glamour model, who split from husband Peter Andre earlier this month, will apparently be asked by police if she can prove Dane's claim.
“Exactly what he was doing with Jordan is not part of the investigation. She is just needed to verify where he was when he said,” a source told the newspaper.
As Entertainmentwise reported yesterday, Katie was in London yesterday afternoon to visit her lawyer about her divorce from Peter.
The couple have two children together, Junior, 3, and Princess Tiaamii, 1, while Katie has another, Harvey, 6, by footballer Dwight Yorke.
