Sean Penn Calls Off Divorce From Robin Wright Penn Again

Sean Penn has called off his divorce from wife Robin Wright Penn for a second time, according to reports.

The Hollywood actor is believed to have filed a legal request to dismiss the separation yesterday.

Sean, 48, filed for divorce from Robin in San Francisco last month seeking irreconcilable differences.

The Milk actor, who was formerly married to Madonna, is quoted as telling the New York Daily News that the filing was "an arrogant mistake".

The couple, who married in 1996, originally began divorce proceedings in December 2007, but called off the separation four months later.

They have two children together, Dylan Francis, 18, and Hopper Jack, 15.

Wright Penn, who appeared in Forest Gump,  is currently serving as a judge at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France.
