Brad Pitt was a picture of cool as he joined fellow cast members from new movie Inglorious Basterds at the Cannes Film Festival.

The actor wore an all-white suit with grey cravat and suntanned brown shoes to the seafront photocall this morning.

Brad smiled for photographers as he clung onto co-stars Diane Kruger and Melanie Laurent.

The movie’s director Quentin Tarantino and actor Mike Meyers were also present.

Inglorious Basterds, which will receive its premiere at Cannes, is set in Nazi-occupied France during World War II.

It tells the story of a group of Jewish soldiers whose mission is to take revenge against members of the Third Reich.

As Entertainmentwise reported earlier, Brad is in the South of France with wife Angelina Jolie.

The couple dined with cast and crew from the film at the Michelangelo restaurant in Antibe last night.

It was the first time the couple have been pictured together since the Academy Awards in February.
