Jessica Biel: 'My Good Looks Are Hurting Acting Career'

Jessica Biel has said she believes her good looks have so far been detrimental to her acting career.

"Yeah, it really is a problem," the actress told Allure magazine. “I have to be blunt."

Jessica’s most notable film appearances so far include I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry and The Illusionist.

But the actress said she didn’t believe she had yet reached the stage where she could choose her parts like her peers.

"I'm in there with everybody else, fighting for the good parts," she said.

"Yes, The Illusionist has made a difference - but a huge massive difference, so I can pick and choose what I want? No.

"I just want an opportunity. If you don't like the audition, don't hire me! But if you don't want to even see me - that's hurtful.

“And why? You know nothing about me.”

As Entertainmentwise reported yesterday, Jessica also suggested her career-driven outlook could stop her enjoying a married future with boyfriend Justin Timerblake.
