Katie Price has said she is ready to move on following her split from husband Peter Andre.
The former glamour model told the Daily Mirror she still loved the singer, “but I can’t sit around crying”.
“This is a new chapter in my life,” she said.
Katie fled to the Maldives after the shock split was announced in a joint statement last week.
The ex-model, also known as Jordan, is travelling with the couple’s two children, Junior, 3, and Princes Tiaamii, 1.
But she is expected to return to the UK later this week to have showdown talks with Peter, who is due to fly home from Cyprus.
A friend said Katie, who also has a son, Harvey, 6, by the footballer Dwight Yorke, was ready to pick herself up again.
“It’s just a shame Pete didn’t want stay for the journey,” the friend added.
Katie and Peter married in 2005 after meeting on the reality TV show I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
