Katie Price: 'Peter Andre Can't Blame Split On My Drinking'

Katie Price has spoken in detail about her split from husband Peter Andre.

The former glamour model told OK! Magazine she had been left “devastated” by Peter's request for a divorce.

But she denied claims her husband had decided to take action after she was pictured reportedly intoxicated in a Bristol night club.

"Pete can't blame this on me drinking,” she told OK! magazine.

“I hardly ever go out and over the five years of our relationship I have probably been out 20 times - which is unusual for a woman of 30.

“I'm not a party girl and I don't drink at home, so when I go out I can get drunk quickly." 

Katie, who is currently in hiding in the Maldives with the couple's two children, described the last seven days as “the worst week of my life”.

She said: “I am fine, but I am really devastated by what has happened.

“Pete is the love of my life and I am so sad and upset by his decision to separate and divorce me as I married him for life."

The couple, who married in 2005, announced their split in a joint statement last week.
