Rihanna Finally Smiles Following Chris Brown Incident

Rihanna has finally managed to smile – three months after she was allegedly assaulted by boyfriend Chris Brown.

The Umbrella singer looked happy as she posed for photographers in New York yesterday after a visit to a recording studio.

Rihanna, who was wearing a retro jacket and black leather trousers, is believed to be laying down songs for her new album.



But she had a more pressing concern on her mind after yesterday's session in the studio: bowling.

The singer took friends to a local Lucky Strike bowling alley before heading for a night out in the Big Apple.

Rihanna's public appearance comes just over a week after a series of alleged nude pictures of the star appeared on the internet.

The singer hasn't commented on the pictures, while Chris denied suggestions he was responsible for the leak.

As Entertainmentwise reported earlier this month, Chris has been charged with assault over an alleged violent altercation with Rihanna in Los Angeles in February.

He is due to appear in court next month.
