Lindsay Lohan Burglars Caught In The Act! - Photos

Here are the two men suspected of attempting a daylight burglary of Lindsay Lohan's place on Tuesday.

As we told you previously, police were called to the actress' Los Angeles pad after the alarms were tripped.

It was initially suggested by police sources that the mess that they uncovered at the house had nothing to do with intruders – it was all Lindsay's own.

However, the authorities have now posted surveillance video footage of two men they believe did try to break-in to the Mean Girls star's home.

Police have even apparently asked Lindsay's estranged father Michael for his help in catching the crooks.

Before realising that two men were involved, he said: "I'm gonna find out who this person is and he's gonna have major problems."

Police claim the two men "walked through a gate and entered the backyard of the residence," adding: "Investigators believe the suspect tried to gain entry by using an unknown type tool to pry open a back window and door. After the unsuccessful attempt, the suspects drove off."

Michael believes the men could only have known his daughter would not be home if they had special connections to those close to the actress.

Lindsay is currently in France with her sister Ali.
