Michael Jackson has asked former Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson to audition for his comeback shows, it's been reported.

George, whose break dancing skills helped him win the talent show in 2008, is expected to fly to Los Angeles to perform for Michael later this month.

“George couldn’t believe it when he got the call-up,” a source told The Sun newspaper.

“His mum has had to scrape him from the ceiling every morning since he was told he would be auditioning for Jacko.

“He has been rehearsing morning, noon and night to get his routines sharpened up for his big chance.

"He’s nervous but he’s used to performing under pressure.”

Michael has been personally auditioning potential dancers for his comeback shows, which kick off in London this July.

As previously reported on Entertainmentwise, the singer is working with High School Music choreographer Kenny Ortega on dance routines for the gigs.

Michael has not performed a full concert since he was cleared of child molestation charges in 2005.
