Robert Pattinson appeared to have had enough of being the centre of attention as he left his birthday bash in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The Twilight hottie celebrated turning 23 at Global Grill and Satay Bar in Vancouver, after a long 12 hours spent filming studio-based scenes for New Moon.

Rob arrived at around 9pm and was shortly followed by co-stars Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and Jamie Bower amongst other crew members.

On exiting the restaurant at around 1pm, a refreshed-looking Rob was immediately ambushed by fans and paparazzi.

He posed for a few pictures before being escorted to a waiting taxi and covered his face as it sped off to his hotel.
