Michael Jackson has teamed up with High School Music choreographer Kenny Ortega for his comeback gigs, it's been revealed.
Kenny, who also scripted the routines for Dirty Dancing, said is attempting to add something special to Michael's famous dance moves ahead the shows in London.
The choreographer told the Sun the collaboration with Michael was a “dream come true” and said the singer inspires “every one of us to climb to new places and conquer new challenges”.
“He is the most significant artist and entertainer of our generation,” he added.
Michael is currently rehearing for the gigs, which get under way at the O2 Arena on July 8, in Burbank, California.
Ten dancers will join the King of Pop on stage as he performs the two hour set.
Randy Philips, who heads AEG, the company behind Michael's shows, said the singer had a budget “north of $20million” to spend on his stage set.
Michael has not performed a full concert since he was cleared of child molestation charges in 2005.
