Katie Price has been bombarding Peter Andre with phone calls and text messages in an effort to get him to take her back, it's been claimed.

Katie, also known as Jordan, flew out of the country on Monday night after Peter called for an end to their three-and-a-half year marriage.

She is believed to be making repeated attempts to contact her husband, but he is refusing to talk about the status of their relationship.

According to the Daily Mirror, Peter told her: "It’s over between us. All I care about is the kids."

It is thought pictures of Katie with another man, who has since outed himself to be gay, proved to be the final straw for the Mysterious Girl singer.

The pictures, taken in a Bristol night club, were published in the national press on Monday – just hours before the couple's spokesperson confirmed their split.

The couple, who married in 2005, have two children together,  Junior, 3, and Princess Tiamii, 1.

Price has another son, Harvey, 6, from her previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.

There had been constant speculation over the strength of the couple's marriage over recent months, but until Monday they had put on a united front for the media.

The couple are currently appearing together in Katie and Peter: Stateside, which follows the former glamour model's bid to crack America.
