Two movie scripts, including one for New Moon, the sequel to the teen vampire sensation Twilight, have been found lying in a bin in St Louis.

Casey Ray, a beauty salon owner, discovered the scripts in a trash dispenser outside a hotel which is currently being used by actors working on a forthcoming George Clooney movie.

At present, it's unknown as to how both scripts ended up in the bin.

Clooney's new movie, Up in the Air, features Twilight actress Anna Kendrick, although a spokesperson for the star denied she would have thrown them away.

Ray's lawyer Al Watkins told AP his client had considered taking the scripts to a national tabloid, but “didn't really want to get paid”.

Instead, Ray returned the scripts for New Moon and the other movie, Memoirs, to the Los Angeles studio which is making both films.

She has been rewarded for her honesty with tickets to both film's premieres.

Although New Moon is adapted from a book of the same name, the leak could still have proved embarrassing for movie bosses.

The film, which stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, is currently being shot in Vancouver BC.
