Lily Allen Praises 'Lovely' Cheryl Cole, Calls Joan Collins A 'Typical Diva'

Lily Allen has described Cheryl Cole as a “lovely lady”, less than two years after the pair were embroiled in an bitter war of words.

The singer, who was angered in 2007 after Cheryl called her a “chick with a d*ck”, praised the Girls Aloud star's work as a judge on The X Factor.

"You know, I've never been in the same room as Cheryl Cole, but if I was I'd go up to her and say 'Hi'” Lily said.

"She's a lovely lady and she's very good on X Factor."

Lily's comments come just days after she was forced to deny insulting Cheryl in a French magazine.

In an interview with thelondonpaper, Lily also spoke about her recent meeting with Joan Collins, who snubbed her when the pair met last month.

She said the author was "just like I thought she would be - a typical diva", adding: "She looked very... her face didn't move much."
