Katy Perry has revealed she didn't enjoy single life – because she had no one to share her success with.
The I Kissed A Girl star recently sold her millionth copy of debut album One For The Boys in the US.
But in an interview with Cosmopolitan, conducted before her recent reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Travis McCoy, Katy said celebrations were low key.
“I don’t like being single,” she said.
“I live this fantastic life, full of all these magical things, and at the end of the day all I want to do is pick up my phone and share it with someone.
“The other day I’d sold a million records in the US and I didn’t have anyone to tell. It was actually a really lonely moment.”
Katy and Travis, who fronts US band Gym Class Heroes, are believed to have reconciled last month.
The pair originally dated each other last year, but split in January amid reports Katy wanted to focus on her career.
