Katie Price and Peter Andre are to split after four-and-a-half years of marriage, a spokesperson has said.
The couple have both requested that the media respect their privacy “at this difficult time”, Can Associates said.
Katie and Peter met on the reality show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here in 2004.
The couple have two children together, Junior, 3, and Princess Tiamii, 1.
Price has another son, Harvey, 6, from her previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.
The shock announcement follows months of speculation over the strength of their marriage.
But despite the reports, the pair put on a public display of unity last month when they ran the London marathon together.
They also presented an award at the Soap Awards in London on Saturday alongside TV presenter Philip Schofield.
In a message on Twitter yesterday, Peter wrote: “Presented at the Soap Awards last night with Kate and saw our lovely friend Philip Schofield...Lovely man.”
The couple are currently appearing together in the TV show Katie and Peter: Stateside, which follows the former glamour model's bid to crack America.
The programme gives a behind-the-scenes insight into the celebrity couple's high-profile relationship.
