Lindsay Lohan is getting over the breakdown of her relationship with Samantha Ronson by rekindling her friendship with actor Jared Leto, according to reports.

The Mean Girls star was apparently spotted getting close to Jared, who she is believed to have dated in 2005, at a party in Los Angeles on Monday.

Lindsay arrived at the party with her 15-year-old sister Ali but soon turned her attention to the 30 Seconds To Mars man.

"Jared came over to Lindsay's table to get her, and then they walked into the MTV suite together," a source told E! News.

"Inside the private suite, Jared pinned Lindsay against the wall and they looked superflirty.  He was whispering in her ear, and their bodies were close together."

Lindsay and Jared were reported to have first dated in 2005 after meeting on the set of the film Chapter 27.

Lindsay split from Sam last month in order to focus on her career.
