Jennifer Aniston has revealed she led a wild party lifestyle in New York in the 1980s.

The normally reserved Friends star made the revelation during an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show last night (May 4).

Jen told the talk show host that she was a regular to all of the city's hotspots, including Danceteria and Palladium.

The actress, who is currently filming new movie The Baster in the city, also revealed that she wore a series of embarrassing outfits during the era.

"I did have that period," Jen said, before describing that one of her 80s costumes included ripped tights, boots and “maybe a bra”.

She added: "No one should have let us go outside like that.”

As well as talking about her party past, Jen used her appearance on Jimmy Fallon to demonstrate her bowling skills.

She also turned the tables on Fallon during the interview, taking the opportunity to interview the host.
