Katy Perry has bought a “flying piggy” ring in an attempt to stay on trend with swine flu.

The I Kissed A Girl star posted a picture of the garish design on her official blog.

In a brief description, Katy said she bought the “super trendy” ring at the Big Drop in Miami so she could “make sure I was in style”.



The disease, which is transmitted from pigs, has spread around the world over recent weeks.

But Katy revealed she was already waiting for a pandemic disease involving cats to arrive, so she could call it “kitty flu”.

Katy wrote: “Kitty Purry was telling me the other night that she remembers when bird flu was in and now pig flu is cool and she wonders when kitty flu is gonna hit, as she would like to be more popular than she currently already is… fame whore”.
