Jamie Lynn Spears' boyfriend Casey Aldridge is out of intensive care and on the mend after receiving serious injuries in a car crash on Sunday.

Casey - who shares 10-month-old daughter Maddie with Jamie Lynn - was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center with head injuries, when his vehicle swerved into a ditch on a Louisiana highway.

Three of the five people riding in the truck, including Casey, were thrown from the vehicle as it flipped over.

Jamie Lynn's beau suffered mild brain trauma and a fractured skull, while another passenger sustained a broken collarbone, and a third injured his hip.

But the 19-year-old has been responding well to treatment and was moved out of intensive care yesterday.

His uncle Odus Jackson tells E! News, "It was a big scare there for a moment, but he got moved out of ICU and is doing good."
